Growing up in the deep south, Creole culture, Hoodoo, and Voodoo has always intrigued and fascinated me. Based on the religion that masked its true beliefs behind Catholic iconism, Santaria is an celebration of living matter, energy and culture. It is very supernatural in nature, to evoke the magical aspects of the ancient practice.

This piece was designed as a two-page spread to feature a eau de parfum with a beautiful glass bottle encircled with wood. The figure is done in marker, the background is digital illustration.
